Scent Description: An irresistible blend of French Lavender, Nag Champa, Egyptian Amber, Sandalwood, Cedarwood & Vanilla
I smelled something very fresh and herbal at first, which I almost thought was lemon from far away, (I was tired) which I assume now was the lavender. It was overtaken within minutes by nag champa and something else that’s very green – maybe the cedarwood, somehow? There is also a slight creaminess to it, all of which is developing very quickly. After several hours, it is completely different and now smells like a smooth, creamy vanilla. Super interesting! I bet a lot of people would like this.
I was hesitant to try this one because of lavender being the first note listed (I’m not allergic but it does tend to make me feel ill) but I don’t actually think it’s the only thing making this blend go wrong on me. The vibe I get is of a new age store, but with a thick coat of baby powder over everything. I can absolutely see this being a dream blend for someone who’s a fan of both incense and lavender-vanilla scents, but it is very much not for me.
I really love this one. Starts almost nutty(?) to my nose with the nag champa and settles to a sweet almost candy-like lavender incene. Andromeda’s Curse’s amber and lavender seem to behave great on me, I couldn’t be happier 🙂
