I like the idea of scents like these but this one is just way too confusing and overwhelming with all the different notes competing with each other.
This is one of my favorite fair/fest scents – it’s a truly yummy sugary gourmand that gives me warmth, kettle corn, and has some salt that keeps it interesting. I love basically all of the notes in this and it’s delicious. I don’t get much of apples specifically but cotton candy and fried dough definitely. It doesn’t have a huge throw. I find it very wearable, actually.
Sweet kettle popcorn, slightly salty. Buttery.. Fried funnel cake in the background. Very fun but not an everyday perfume.
Not for me. The fried dough note overpowers everything else here and it smells heavy, oily, and salty on my skin. It almost smells like play-doh on me.
Primarily kettle corn and funnelcakes on me, but the sweetness from the other notes comes through more, mostly the taffy and cotton candy. The apple hides a bit in the background, but it’s still in there. This is delicious.
A mix of caramel corn and kettle corn. The cotton candy adds a perfect sweetness. Lasts decent amount of time. I like it.
The kettle corn here is similar to HoG’s ghost puffs, only it pulls drier and a bit more artificial. The cotton candy is lovely, and the taffy provides a strange salted edge that keeps me sniffing.
I am always torn on this scent. I have had it for almost 3 years and it has changed a lot over time. When I first got it in a destash the cotton candy note was very artificial and perfumey. I really liked the rest of the scent so I kept wearing it even though the cotton candy bugged my nose. I started to notice after 1 year the cotton candy had settled and was more bearable-actually enjoyable. Now it is light and realisitic. I can press my nose against my wrist and I don’t get that sharp hit of Calgon Cotton Candy. County Fair goes so buttery and salty on me and I love that. The kettle corn is delicious and you can make out the fried dough. I don’t find I get much candied apples or saltwater taffy. Maybe a light whiff every now and then. I keep saying I am going to get rid of it and then I end up putting it on again.
