  1. I tested this immediately and was disappointed. It smelled like hungry dirt that had just soaked up a broken vintage bottle of perfume. Not nice. But not bad.

I waited a week and tried again. It now smells exactly like cold, wet stone and trees. It is perfection in a scent. If you love being in a rainy and damp Canadian forest in the early fall, please, by all means, go for this. If it was a colour: a deep, deep, greenish gray.

  2. On initial application it is very true to the description. After about 30 minutes it seems to sweeten on my skin (in a good way). It has medium throw and lasts 2-3 hours.

  3. I got almost exclusively pine scents from this oil. I was hoping for something a little more complex. This also didn’t last more than a couple hours on my skin. I can see this being layered with some sweeter, vanilla oils for a pretty winter scent.

  4. I definitely get fungi and wet dirt from this, it smells amazing, and definitely realistic! I need to find a way to make it last longer, though; as is, it fades fast on my skin, so I have to reapply often. Otherwise, really nice earthy green scent!

  5. I am usually not drawn to “green” smelling perfumes since they tend to also be in the “clean ‘n fresh” family, which is not my thing. Anyway, I ordered this because it sounded a bit dark and soily. It does not disappoint, there’s nothing Febreze-Meadow about this. It smells like hiking on a warm spring day after a heavy rain. The dirt is very strong and very realistic.
