In the vial this is an extremely green-springy floral, and when applied to skin it becomes an explosion of fresh, green floral notes. This one reminds me very much of BPAL’s 2007 Poisson d’Avril – they are both gorgeous, wet, early-spring florals that I adore. This is fresher, greener, and brighter than that, as it has both sugar and honey notes in it – this one is more atmospheric and more like walking through an early spring garden when it’s just rained. Rites of Spring is beautiful – if you like the idea of a rainy green floral, or even just these early spring floral notes, I don’t think you could go wrong with this one!
