Damn…just damn. Bourbon Amber is another amber perfume oil that’s not meshing with my skin chemistry. Immediately on my skin I get a dark cola/sweet myrrh type of smell that’s in the background and I’m excited. Of course then the amber does it’s thing on my skin and turns powdery with my chemistry. That awful smell amplifies on me and completely takes over all other notes. Doompowder land is where Bourbon Amber ends up, where all of my amber fails go to die. Ambers are always a gamble with me and Bourbon Amber did NOT work. The search continues…

Very strong and slightly sweet animalic amber with a skanky middle eastern attar feel, the bourbon/woods accord brings Oud to mind.
