I love this one so much, it’s very bright and beautiful! I was wary of the patch but there is nothing to fear as it is indeed “stately” and only a touch. I primarily get citron and sugared lavender from this, which give it that sparkling, bubbly vibe. The mint is noticeable but not overpowering at all, just fresh and uplifting.
Mostly it’s a soft lemongrass. To me, the other scents just soften the lemongrass into something that makes it wearable as a perfume. It’s a really pleasant scent. Hauntingly beautiful in a way.
Kind of cacophonous, I didn’t find that these notes work well together for me.
Citron and lemongrass, followed by a bright patchouli and light vanilla. Interesting but not for me.
One first application the mint and lemongrass are the stars of the show. After drydown I get much more vanilla and patchouli than anything else, with a hint of fresh citrusy mint that brightens it up a bit. This is one of the scents that made me realize that patchouli didn’t have to be heavy and abrasive; in Astrid’s Diadem it adds elegance and depth.
