A cool, dry, waxy vanilla with a creamy lightly sweet myrrh. I get no smokiness, but a lot of waxiness. A little nuttiness too, like cocoa butter. It almost smells like a cola. It reminds me a lot of those little candy things, the wax bottles filled with soda syrup. It sort of smells like a subtle vanilla Coke smell. I don’t think “smoked vanilla” would come to mind at all if I smelled this and didn’t know what it was called. I guess I expected something more akin to Smoke and Mirrors by Alkemia, but this isn’t anything close to that. So, if you are looking to smell like smoked vanilla, this doesn’t really deliver. If you want to smell like vanilla Coke, this does the job. It isn’t unpleasant, just not what I was after.
