Scent Description: Inspired by that greatest of lakes, Lake Michigan, my very favorite lake in the world, and all its moods and shores. Much more than an “aquatic” fragrance, this has indescribable, sandy depth.
This is simultaneously exactly what I expected and NOTHING like what I expected. On first sniff in the bottle, I get fresh white flowers. Real hothouse flowers, but like…recently soaked. On skin though the florals melt into a freshwater aquatic scent that I don’t really know how to describe. There’s some kind of gritty musk in here that I don’t want to call sandy. It’s something, though? Very cool and grey fragrance with some oddball depth that is cleaner than anticipated. Shockingly good wear time for a DC fragrance.
