Brand: Darling Clandestine

Scent Description: This weird little concoction is truly a masterpiece, if I do say so myself. Oh, it’s gooood. And weird. Dark, damp, herbal—mossy forest floors, sunken alleys, underground spaces—with a dozen unlikely notes including pure essential German chamomile, bitter black coffee, hazy Indian musks, sharp herbs and a whip of leather. It’s not for everyone. It’s strange. But oh my, is it fantastic.

  1. from my past IMAM review; Sitting in a newly watered greenhouse filled with moss and sprouting herbs, that’s just about to be too humid, drinking black coffee and eating those coffee hard candies they give away at the Thai restaurant by my work.

  2. Green coffee on the opening, almost like what I imagine a fresh plucked coffee bean pod must smell like. As it settles, there’s a mossy musky quality slinking its way in that must be some combination of oakmoss and chamomile. It’s surprisingly masculine. I can’t pick up any leather or “herbs”. TLDR: smooth black coffee on top of a cool green combination of moss and musks.

  3. Vardogr is a cool, foggy, mossy green oasis with a super smooth cup of coffee in hand.
