  1. This one just smells like burnt popcorn to me. A friend of mine loved it when I gave it to her though. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  2. Wow, this one is hard to pin down too. I like something about it immediately, but I’m getting mostly hot beeswax in the bottle and I want more of whatever is backing it. It’s sadly the same on skin. I get some burnt paper for a second, with the faintest whiff of gasoline in the distance. The wax is pushing itself back front and center though, like it’s literally melting onto my skin. This is so much sweeter than I expected and oddly one-dimensional. I’d love some wood to make it feel darker and more grounded. I do keep sniffing it though. I’m not sure if it’s because I like it or if I’m just desperate to detect a change. I can’t deny that it’s got a uniqueness that I wish would develop into the complexity teasing me by hovering just out of reach. The second test a week later blasts me with sticky sweet beeswax candles and nothing else. The opposite of what I hoped for happened. It’s less complex, less interesting. I’m extremely disappointed. What happened to the heat? Parchment? Where are the wooden banisters? I’d even take heavy gasoline to break things up at this point. Nothing improved with successive tries. It’s sticky-sweet beeswax candles in a bottle. Sad pass.
