Firstly, I love the name. It makes me grin. Described on the site as “rich but bright”, I must totally agree. I don’t have much hands on experience with oud, but it’s definitely got a sort of funkiness that I’ve heard about with oud. It’s also a tad bit medicinal, but I think the marshmallow and amber must temper than down enough that it reads as “bright” on me instead. I get a smooth and creamy sort of woodiness with this in the drydown, warm but not suffocating.
