  1. I’m very particular when it comes to the smell of lavender. I’m not a fan of the lavender in Lavender Sugar. Maybe I just prefer my lavender mixed with vanilla. This lavender/sugar blend isn’t doing anything for me. Maybe if the lavender leaned more to the floral versus the herbal side. Actually, I’ve smelled much more herbal lavenders than this. I’m not sure exactly what hits me wrong with this one. I tried this in the Pumpkin Butter format.

  2. This is an almost herbal lavender, not a bright fruity one or a delicate floral one. It’s powerful enough to hold its own in the blend, but is tempered by a generous helping of brown sugar, which lends some necessary sweetness and makes the scent feel a lot ‘warmer’. This isn’t light and fluffy, more deep and sugary, but I think it’s a very pretty scent for bath and body products. I liked it when added to pumpkin butter.
