  1. This is definitely an atmospheric scent on me. When it first arrived, it smelled like your generic fall candle straight out of the bottle. After giving it a week to sit, it began to smell more like the description. On first application, it smells very strongly of sweet hay. The dry-down smells more of crushed apples and fall air, and the scent lingers for hours.

  2. At first this smells like a fresh, tart apple. When it settles down you really get the sweet light scent of the hay. I absolutely adore this one. It really reminds me of fall on the farm.

  3. I definitely smell the sweet, fresh cider and toasty hay, along with the woody smell from the oak. It’s a little bit of an atmospheric take on cider, which is neat. There was a little bit of sweetness at first, but it’s mostly the oak, hay, and a little bit of apple that stick around.

  4. I like this a lot! It’s very aggressively fall. It starts off with a pretty strong apple top note, then fades down into sweet hay (I think? I’m bad at describing notes). I do have to be in a pretty particular mood to wear this, but I always enjoy it when I do. I don’t get a whole lot of the oak, but I love this perfume enough to overlook it. For those of you who don’t love sweet scents, don’t be put off by the vanilla! It’s not strong at all, just helps to give the scent a little something extra.

  5. Olde Cider Haus smells exactly like standing inside a barn that has a cider press running. There’s a bright, fresh, true cider scent backed by hay and oak. The vanilla is sort of in the background and really just helps to round everything else out.
