Wow. I can’t wait to get this one on my skin. It’s so calming and straightforward. It gives me major English vibes. No nonsense. I hope the steamed milk doesn’t go awry, but I was safe with it in Morphine, so I’m very hopeful. YES! On my skin, it barely changes at all from the bottle. Zero issues with the milk note going sour. It’s gorgeous and soft and sophisticated. It goes quite plain on the dry down, sort of a creamy vanilla with a breath of tea. This one is an excellent body oil candidate. I think it would be refreshing in summer without being fruity (my normal instinct for warm days). It would also easily support stronger scents without competing, so I can see it being used year-round without issue. High maybe for me. I’m still thrilled that I can wear a milk note and sincerely adore it. This blend is solid.
I found the bergamot note extremely strong. The steamed milk + vanilla syrup combination smelled very buttery, truly almost like buttered popcorn. I didn’t get so much of the tea; it was mostly like a very sweet, buttery, citrusy scent to me. All of that bergamot was a bit much for me, to be honest, but I know a lot of people really like this one. So go for this scent if really strong citrus is your jam.
i’m so torn on this. the throw is decent (i don’t have to put my nose directly to my skin to smell it), and when i catch a whiff of it it smells lovely. sweet, even. but when i put my nose too close to my skin, it doesn’t smell as nice. all in all, it’s a lovely tea scent – i just wish it were only the throw scent and less of whatever is sticking just by my skin.
