Share photos and thoughts on how you store your stash. Do you use boxes? Acrylic makeup holders? Ammo boxes? Drawers? Lend us your wisdom!
Here’s some ideas for helpful tips to share:
- Where did you buy your organizer(s)?
- How much did it cost?
- What are pros of your storage system?
- What are the cons?

March 8, 2020 at 3:58 pm #34178I am currently using 5 types of organizers.
Blue Ammo Tray
- holds 50 sample vials
- purchased on Amazon for $9.00 CAD(approx $7.00 USD)
- Pros: Holds vials upright
- Cons: Open to light and dust. Labels that stick out have to be wrapped around the vial (Ajevie, Alkemia (old), The Strange South, Andromeda’s Curse, Haus of Gloi, etc.)
Acrylic Lipstick Holder
- holds 12 full size bottles in individual slots(5mL-10mL)
- open space in the back that can hold additional bottles
- purchased at Dollar Tree for $1.25 CAD (approx $1.00 USD)
- Pros: Good sized sections to hold bottles
- Cons: Open to light and dust. I don’t always know what to do with the back section
Acrylic Nail Polish Holder
- holds 16 full size bottles in individual slots(5mL-10mL)
- or holds 24 Sixteen92 6mL bottles
- purchased at Dollar Tree for $1.25 CAD (approx $1.00 USD)
- Pros: Multiple storage options. Fits standard 5 & 10mL bottles, Sixteen92 6mL bottles, or sample vials.
- Cons: Open to light and dust. Doesn’t hold 5mL & 10mL bottles as snugly as lipstick holder does.
Handcarved Little Wooden Box
- holds 15ish short 1mL sample bottles
- gifted to me years ago. My cousin brought it back from one of her buying trips to Indonesia for her store.
- Pros: protects from light and dust
- Cons: only holds specific bottles, difficult to read the labels
Little Paper Jewelry Box
- holds 19 samples bottles (1-2mL)
- received from Sixteen92 with multiple sample vials inside
- Pros: protects from light and dust
- Cons: difficult to read the labels
