  1. Before applying it, I told my partner that due to the notes it sounded like some kind of high-class men’s fragrance from a hundred years ago. Upon applying, I felt vindicated in that assessment! I noticed the lavender and bergamot together pretty strongly at first, and the frankincense is less FRANK and more a resinous woody darkness (maybe the way it’s melding with the cedar and musk). There’s no “hamster bedding/lumber aisle” feel to the cedar– this is a forest of living trees and fallen logs covered in greenery. I’m not sure I pick up the coriander at all.
