I bought this in Spray-in Hair Detangler form from someone on the aftermarket. The bottle said 2012. I’d never tried any Moonalisa product before, so I’ll be reviewing the Detangler formula as well as the scent.
Starts off spicy and reminds me a little bit of BPTP Blueberry Pumpkin Muffins Hair Gloss. The formula isn’t as oily as HG and seems like more of a styling product than a hair gloss, which I like. After a few minutes, I get a light berry jam tart smell, but like uncooked dough and not a toasty baked scent. On my hair, it feels more creamy and more of a light leave-in conditioner than gloss. I like that because it keeps my hair wavy. HG tends to straighten it. The scent isn’t as strong as my BPTP Blueberry Pumpkin Muffins HG, but maybe that’s due to age.
