Crystalline

Brand: Nocturne Alchemy

Scent Description: One of THE most requested perfumes has finally been brought to the Studio Limited. A thick viscous Vanilla that comes on soft and subtle then creates a cacophony of a beautiful cloud of vanilla purity. It is not a food vanilla, but a vanilla that makes you feel at peace, tranquil and right with the world. Crystalline, named in 2009 – for the signature Vanilla scent it creates, one solid scent of an uplifting Vanilla from the stigma of a Vanilla Orchid especially for this perfume. Wear alone or layered with most any NA perfume from our site

Released: Studio Limited Originals

  1. It’s strange, I’m not usually a fan of synthetic musks, many of which I’m anosmic to, but I absolutely adore Crystalline. It’s a cool musky white floral vanilla with monster sillage and longevity; I can still smell it the next day, even (faintly) after a shower! It really is like being in a beautiful fluffy cloud that makes me feel just happy for hours. I wouldn’t call this perfume super sweet or foody per se, it’s sweet like heady perfumed orchids not sweet like candy but then again I don’t eat marshmallows (because gelatin) so I don’t have that association.

  2. Soft, dusty, warm, cozy white cloud vanilla. Great for relaxing, bedtime, hot weather, and layering with anything or everything. One of my favorite NAVA vanillas.

  3. Very straight vanilla on me. Unlike Moonstone, it’s easier to smell upfront but it still wafts about you through the day. I can sometimes smell it on me 10+ hours later, just sitting there where I applied it. I also love Crystalline for layering- I put it with all sorts of perfumes and Crystalline does its magic on them!

  4. Fluffy airy vanilla musk. It’s got some of the qualities of cotton candy and hovers around you like a cloud, but it’s still distinctly a musk. Has great longevity.

  5. A light, floaty, lightly white-musky vanilla. A little foody, a little perfumey, but not overwhelmingly so. More like just facets. Not heavy or boozy. It’s definitely sweet, but in a powdered sugar way, not a caramel or cake-y way. It’s a good “white” vanilla. I feel like it’s too “hollow” by itself, it needs layering. Even layered, you do have to be into vanilla to enjoy it.
