Once again, this is the 2021 version and I think it needs some time to age and develop. I let the bottle rest for about a month before I even cracked it open. On my skin this begins as a lemony citrus forward scent that quickly fades into a sweetened browned vanilla scent and stays that way before disappearing around 3-4 hours. No almond or toasted crust notes detected as of yet. It’s okay but not what I was expecting from the description and the reviews of others. I’m going to put this to bed for a few months and see what happens with time. Right now the final stage of this smells like a slightly browned vanilla merengue.
