The violets are creamy and not too powdery. They blend with the creamy, not super sugary ripe, banana in a surprisingly beautiful way. The amber marries these notes into a beautiful and interesting perfume.
I grabbed this untested and I am so glad that I did. It is utterly gorgeous, a truly enchanting perfume. It attracts compliments and is comfortably intoxicating (that bit of freshness) for daily wear. My husband has taken to calling it my “French perfume” lol (which is his way of saying that he loves it). If you’re attracted to the notes, I’d highly encourage giving it a try the next time it’s available.
It’s really unusual and I think I love it. The banana is really fresh smelling, and the violet complements it well. It’s rather clean smelling. There is a bit of sweetness (I think from the amber). It’s a really beautiful scent.
