Hands down the best Poesie scent. Vanilla woods. After 3 years and 700 indie perfumes, this one is definitely top 10 (from any house). It’s really that good!
This was an unexpected *love* for me. On my skin, it’s a lovely, deep, woody-vanilla that has some sweetness, but is not overly so. It’s gorgeous, and reminds me of the smell inside my piano! When I first tried it, there was some sharp/bitterness in the opening (which may have been from the leather notes) but I’m not noticing that as much – maybe my nose has adjusted. My only wish is that it projected more – it’s a bit hard to smell when I apply to my chest. I get more scent if I slather a bit on both inner elbows. Very cozy for me.
