  1. In the bottle I get the different woods and spices, on the skin it’s spicy sandalwood with a hint of vanilla. It’s warm and comforting. It reminds me a bit of incense cones I used to use but can’t find anymore.

  2. The Abbey is a GORGEOUS oriental sandalwood. Many of my favorite sandal scents are quite masculine but this one walks the line between femme and masculine perfectly, edging ever so slightly towards femme thanks to that tad bit of vanilla sweetness. This is the smell of a Middle Eastern marketplace. The cardamom and coriander blend beautifully with the creamy sandal. One of my very favorites

  3. On me this reads as a spicy rosewood & sandalwood. The vanilla is there, but it is in the background to the woods.

  4. This is such a lovely, refined scent. Soft wood and meditative sandalwood, comfy non-gourmand vanillas, and a touch of warmth from the cardamom. For some reason it makes me imagine a covered stone walkway attached to an old stately English manor house, circling around a garden, light streaming in through the interspersed arches along the structure.

  5. Oh man do I love cardamom. So good. If anyone is worried about the coriander, it doesn’t come out hardly at all, just enough to give a hint of spice. This is a very warm and comforting scent, but edging on cloying to me. The vanilla is very sweet and I don’t get much rosewood, but overall very smooth.

  6. This is extremely pleasant and calming to me. I get a creamy rosewood flecked with coriander and cardamom. It almost leans toward a cardamom tea latte-like scent at times. With wear it fades to a vanilla sandalwood.
