Mordred’s Passion

Brand: Possets

Scent Description:

Whereat I turned me round, and saw before me And underfoot a lake, that from the frost The semblance had of glass, and not of water. So thick a veil ne’er made upon its current In winter-time Danube in Austria, Nor there beneath the frigid sky the Don…

We have reached the realm of those who did in their kin for a variety of evil reasons. Down here we find Mordred from King Arthur’s time and he is quite the inspiration for a perfume. The love child of a union between King Arthur and his notorious sister, Morgause; Mordred was slain by Arthur but delivered the fatal blow to his father. Sad stuff which lands Mordred in hell forever. A volatile concoction featuring a black camphor. This one reminds me of a burn, when it feels cold rather than hot and burnt. Blackseed and black camphor, black musk and sage, and a bit of Posset’s famous lavender. This is a head clearing blend but somehow it has a playful side.
