Washington State

Brand: Possets

Scent Description: What do you think of when you think of Washington state? Apples, of course. But I put them with the sweet briar rose (which is actually its cousin and does grow well in Washington state), and a honey accord which is so smooth it is almost illegal. Finally I am topping this all off with an incense which weaves the entire thing together and you have what I consider an essential beautiful perfume fitting to represent a lovely place.

Released: Permanent Blends

  1. All the apples. Apple candy, fresh apples, dried apples, applesauce, apple butter, etc. Honey comes out on the drydown. I was totally down for some appley goodness and was really liking this. Then after a bit of wear, the grounding note of incense came through. And. Took. Over. Everything.
Now I have noticed my skin tends to amp up incense notes so don’t let that scare you off this scent. Still a really impressive array of apple scents blended together.

  2. Fairly balanced between the three notes in the bottle and wet. On the skin, it dries down to a heavily honey-dipped apple with hints of rosiness flitting in and out from behind. I can amp honey a little, and this one is strong on the honey, a very smooth, light one – smells like a clover honey.
