In the vial and on my skin the whiskey and the dark chocolate are strong, but the leather kind of tempers them both. There’s a faint smokey smell that intermingles with the other notes and I love it. If you don’t like whiskey, this is not the scent for you. If you want to smell kind of like a romanticized Western cowboy or rugged gentleman in the Scottish highlands, this is your scent.

This was immediately very fragrant with a strong charred leather and chocolate blend. The chocolate faded towards the background within the first couple of hours and left a charred wood and sweet smoke scent. With more wear it has become a musky whiskey.
The first time I wore it my… late partner reacted sooo violently in disgust. I think it was the strong whiskey note. It makes me smile to remember. I really like this though! It smells kinda like the bourbon balls I made for christmas with him (chocolate, bourbon, and vanilla wafers basically). As time goes on the other notes pop out and it’s so masculine and sexy.
