This is so faint on me and even on fabric! I only get a slightly floral lipstick with maybe a hint of sandalwood and musky helichrysum.
Surprisingly I love this a lot! It’s very feminine and mysterious with the lipstick and iris and carnation
I don’t know what I expected but this exceeds that lol. It’s musky and feminine and strange and lovely all at once. The iris root is more prominent at first, and the carnations are more prominent with wear.
I’m not much of a Sixteen92 fan, but I love this one. This scent introduced me to helichrysum (immortelle), and I find it somehow very comforting. I like to wear it as a sleep scent despite its ominous theme (Brides of Dracula). The iris and lipstick accord come out to soften the strange elements of the helichrysum, and the sandalwood is pretty. I think the “silk gowns” note is a kind of silk musk, it’s understated and sort of backs up the sandalwood. Altogether it’s somehow strangely a little sweet (more like liquor sweet than sugar sweet).
