1. Thick, hefty, very warm and darkly sweet. Applies like POW to the senses but chills out after a couple minutes. The sweet is on the cusp of being molasses but never really gets there, instead keeping its brown sugar form like it’s supposed to. Sweetness is further emphasized by the coconut husk, vanilla, and sassafras. The coconut adds just enough character to be present and lovely without ever going sunscreen or true foodie, so I fully believe it’s more husk than meat. Sassafras is in competition with the heavier notes, but seems to strengthen as it wears. Tuberose is not too waxy-white and backs up honeysuckle for a lovely shade of floral. The base notes here are powerhouses: smooth sandalwood and vanilla, woody teak and tobacco. Has the slightest amount of minty menthol to make it interesting. Hefty and lasts for hours and hours. Very gender neutral.

2. The menthol is definitely the more prominent note for me. The rest blend together really well into a warm comforting base. Definitely a fan, but it doesn’t last very long

3. When I first read the notes, I was excited about everything except menthol cigarettes, which I wasn’t too sure how to feel about. Upon immediate application, the only thing I smell is menthol, which was frustrating. As it dries, the menthol gets a little less overbearing and I can smell a little brown sugar. I never get much floral from this, mostly just coolness from the menthol and warmth from the woods/sugar

4. Instantly one of my top favorite perfumes. The Strange South is so good at blending it’s unbelievable, nothing sticks out too much. It’s kind of sweet but in a way that wouldn’t offend anyone, even guys could wear it and own it. It really reminds me of menthol cigs in a way, without the smoke and nasty taste on your tongue.

   1. I completely agree, nothing sticks out or overpowers. I love this one so much. It’s sweet but not super foody or saccharine, just soft.
