Brand: ZOMG Smells
The Serpentine God of Chaos Apep Lovingly Embraces a Wolf-Rayet Star: Peru balsam, fig, glowing amber, myrrh, red Egyptian musk, black musk, anise, sandalwood.
Wolf-Rayet stars are big bois, often 25 times the mass of our own sun, and rapidly working their way up to– we theorize– a huge, huge spinning explosion. This one in particular has a beautiful, serpentine spiral that has earned it the name Apep, for the Egyptian snake-god of chaos. Since it’s a heck of a destructive force, and the gamma ray we expect it to emit could cause a mass extinction event on Earth– again– this seems rather appropriate.
