Plush, juicy apples that have some tartness to them and slightly sweet, but still herbal sage to back them up. Sage often goes soapy on my skin, but not here. Ever so slightly waxy floral scent, this is the orris probably, and smooth black tea sweetened very lightly with honey emerge a little later on. The perfume evolves further with a light apricot and almost hay like note, that still manages to be more floral than fruity, I’m thinking this is the osmanthus (devilwood flower). I can’t find the ginger, but I’m not too sad about that. The drydown is very sensual feeling with a light red musk grounded in cedar dominated amber base. This might be my favorite Andromeda’s Curse perfume thus far and I feel like it is a very versatile scent too (I think it was a part of the Fall collection, but I can see myself enjoying this during Spring just as easily). The projection of the perfume is actually pretty good on me and especially the base notes seem to hang around for a fairly long time.
