Brand: Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab
Scent Description: Lush, creamy vanilla and the honey of the sweetest kiss smeared with the vital throb of husky clove, swollen red cherries, but darkened with the vampiric sensuality of vetiver, soporific poppy and blood red wine, and a skin-light pulse of feral musk.
Released: Bewitching Brews
Lightly sweet, dark, earthy, and acidic. Red wine, vetiver, opium, clove, honey, and non-gourmand vanilla with hints of cherry and musk.
The clove is earthy (as opposed to spicy), the opium is softly smoky, and the red wine is strong, fruity, and very acidic. I went into this hoping for a vanilla, clove, and cherry scent… but I ended up with almost no cherry and way more red wine than I’d prefer.
Not for me, but I do recommend to those who enjoy red wine.
take this with a grain of salt, but this scent gives me a headache. i’m pretty sure my skin amps clove, and it’s basically all i can smell (with just a hint of what smells like cherry cough syrup, which i’m assuming is from the cherries note). extremely spicy. if you like dark, spicy scents – and you’re okay with clove – i’d recommend. but on me, it’s headache-inducing.
