Aequitas

Brand: Darling Clandestine

Scent Description: Yes. It’s a fragrance inspired by The Boondock Saints. Smoke and blood and a LOT of whiskey and damp alleys and steel and gunpowder and sweat and denim and sweet wooden rosary beads and a bit of clover struggling up through concrete cracks. It is so, so, so sexy. It has a companion, VERITAS, created by Becca at One Hand Washes the Other.

  1. The first impression I get of this bad boy is HEAT. DC has a way of doing spice where it comes across as warm instead of…spice. And Aequitas is like the summer sun beating down of your back at first. That heat is quickly followed by the distinctive scent of clover honey, blood, whisky, and a hint of smoky grit. Surprisingly sweet (mostly from the blood note believe it or not, but also that whisky) and green, yet still manages to smell like a fight in an alleyway. This only lasts a few hours on my skin.
