  1. In the bottle:
Very sweet and warm. Milky, little bit salty.

    On application:
It’s wide, warm, very sweet, very creamy. I’m not necessarily getting coconut milk, but definitely milk of some sort. There’s something curiously “apple-y” in there (went and smelled Babooshka, went “no, THAT’S what apples smell like, but still there’s *something*) maybe it’s the brown sugar or tobacco. My husband kinda hates this, thinks it’s far too sweet. It really is super sweet, but not cloying or sickening to me. It’s kind of like an Indian rice pudding. Just delicious.

After a couple of hours it sort of “slims down” and becomes more complex and less sweet as the creamy notes fall back. There are hints of tobacco and a little bit of heat from the cayenne but on me it’s mostly spicy vanilla and salty caramel. i mean, I’m trying to differentiate the notes, but it’s just so well blended that it just feels… whole.

I’ve read that some people have terrible trouble with this scent, and I’m quietly pleased that milk notes smell great on me. If you’re one of those people for whom milk is a death note this will ruin your life. But for me I think this is absolutely delicious. I can’t stop snaffing myself, and the way it changes is fascinating. The last tingles of spice and warmth last upwards of eight hours on me and the throw is pretty decent, especially for the first hour or two.

  2. Now this is interesting… sweet, caramelly foodie in the bottle, but with an edge of unique spice heat that urges me to keep sniffing. Unfortunately, the moment it hits my skin, that spice smacks me in the face, and then goes weirdly plastic. Cayenne pepper does not work on me at all apparently. There’s also something sour… Maybe I’m also one of those people that milky notes don’t work on because the only thing that makes sense is the coconut milk note causing that. I wanted to like this, but my chemistry says NOPE. It changes after about an hour, becoming sweet again with just the faintest whiff of cayenne-infused, creamy coconut (which is cool… reminds me of Thai food). I think this is what it should smell like from the start… I just don’t think I can wait through the strange beginning to get here. Sorry, skin chem. Hard pass.

  3. This is GORGEOUS! It’s my newest Hex obsession surpassing Whip. The blend of tobacco and caramel is so warm and inviting. The vanilla and coconut milk add a creamy element. I don’t get a lot of cayenne pepper, but it’s in there making sure nothing gets too sweet. It’s perfect.
