  1. Wet: gourmand with smoke, smells delicious, then woody notes take over,
Drydown: 20min later its blended together, smells like deliciousness with earthy smoke,
I cannot really discern any specific smells within the deliciousness – Its a gourmand smell.
Medium sillage, by 5h it turns into a very low sillage scent-close to skinscent, keeps going 8h+

  2. On my skin this starts out smelling very much like the honeyed tobacco note in Papa Legba (C’nest Une Pipe) with the addition of buttered rum sauce, I swear that I smell cinnamon but, since my sin isn’t reacting, it must be some other spice of mix. Whatever it is I dig it. The tobacco note fades a bit ( I’m thinking this note is supposed to be pipe smoke but it comes across as fresh unlit tobacco instead) and I can smell a mix of sweet potato pie and the coconut. Sadly the coconut turned plastic (this always seems to happen with coconut damnit) on me and is ruining this! It’s not a super strong plastic note as everything else I’m smelling is pretty strong. I never smelled any amber, sandalwood or musk. Maybe they’re more supporting notes in this blend. Other than the coconut turning rancid on me, I really enjoyed this. This is most definitely an Autumn scent for sure. I applied this yesterday at around 9:45pm and it’s the next morning around 9:30am and I can still smell it on my skin. It’s now a mix of that cinnamon smell, buttered rum sauce and sweet potato pie. I wonder if I can request this without the coconut note since Caroline from Hexennacht makes her stuff to order?

  3. This is very sweet in the bottle, and I’m nervous. When I put it on, I get a blast of mashed sweet potato topped with marshmallows, which is realistic and lovely. It’s got a rich, buttery, ever-so-slightly boozy quality from the “buttered rum” too. As it sits, I get rich pipe smoke and what smells like tobacco. Could be the dried leaves I suppose. With the sweet potato contribution, this is turning it something quite unique and unexpected. As it dries down, there’s a current of resiny amber and then steady grounding sandalwood. I never get any coconut. I wasn’t sure I liked this at first because I anticipated complexity and was taken aback by the foodie start. However, I see the reason why it’s highly rated now. It grew on me quickly. It’s got a nice transition from sweet potato casserole to more of a traditional perfume profile of tobacco, smoke, amber, and woody base notes. The complexity comes in waves of change. It’s a complete perfume, one that doesn’t need layering with anything else. It leans Fall because of the prominent sweet potato beginning, but it’s not screaming it from the rooftops, so it could pop up in my rotation throughout the year. I’m enamored. Favorite.

  4. This smells like Christmas when you’ve been cooking up a storm. I get baked goods and some lovely lovely smoky, spicy notes in the background. I actually get a lot of cinnamon even though that’s not one of the listed notes. It’s a very yummy scent.
