  1. I love this perfume! It’s a soft, enveloping patchouli vanilla. The longer I wear it, the better it smells… I think the vanilla comes out more and the patch snuggles into the background. It’s a good “entry level” patchouli, I’d say, fort people like me who don’t want too much of it.

  2. I love this perfume oil at every stage. Each one is better than the next. I was surprised at how well the particular vanilla in this balanced out the patchouli. I know it’s not listed in this but my nose kept on telling my brain it smelled cedar in this. Maybe it was a stage where the patchouli was calming down? The remaining notes (cashmeran, oakmoss, black pepper and laurel leaf) transform this into something truly special to make this blend phenomenal on me. This jives so well with my skin chemistry. This is a scent that I always want to have in my possession.

  3. If you’re looking for an approachable patchouli, this is a stellar choice. It’s 100% there, but it’s muted and nestled in soft sweetness and warmth. I’m shocked to admit that I really, really like the green aspects here too. I’m usually skeptical and could do without those notes. Here, though, it elevates the whole thing to this perfect freshness. I honestly don’t know if it’s the oakmoss or the laurel leaf… I’ve had good experiences with scents with oakmoss in them, so I’m leaning towards that. I looked up laurel leaf though and it’s supposed to have a bright, spicy greenness, so it honestly could be either. Maybe both working together! Regardless, this is patchouli with green vanilla done brilliantly. I am impressed by it. It’s one of the most wearable patchouli perfumes I’ve ever sniffed. Maybe even more so than Planchette, which has consistently been my “entry-level” recommendation. As it fades, that lovely vanilla becomes slightly dominant, but with the green aspects and a subtle patch heart maintained. Super pretty. I keep getting pleasant whiffs of it as it fades, and I really have to say I like it overall. The extreme dry down is almost straight vanilla, soft and delicate with a breath of patch to keep things interesting. This would probably pass at work, especially with how tamed the patch is from the start, which ratchets it back up onto my radar for an upgrade. I must think on this one. High probable.

  4. This is one of the best perfumes I’ve tried in a very long time. Patchouli is one of my favorite notes. This is just that. A perfect, sophisticated, take on patchouli vanilla perfume. Can’t really detect anything else as it needs to rest a bit. Not overly sweet, or dry. Super impressed with this house.

  5. powdery dry blond woods

Thoughts: this smells like an upscale dusting powder to my nose, almost like I moisturized with cocoa butter than patted a cloud over my skin. I know the patch is here, but it’s more like a suggestion of it, leaning towards a fancy oriental.

  6. I absolutely love the first whiff of this perfume – it is warm and sweet, with the patchouli and vanilla perfectly blended into each other. I am normally not a huge fan of vanilla, but here it is a warm complement, and not taking center stage nor loudly artificial. Closer, there is a sharper, woodier scent – it feels herbal and sharper, balancing the soft sweetness I smell from further away.
