My first impression is that it feels quiet and romantic. Lots of stone and dirt, brightened by the sharp gardenia. Moderate throw, moderate/high longevity.
The most classy indie perfume I’ve ever smelled. It does remind me of a mainstream perfume because it’s musky, but you still get stone, earth, and moss. How do they bottle the scent of stone? Amazing 🙂
Smells like high class dirt and for some reason, musk? The “dark earth” note makes it feel a lot like Poesie Forest Cat which has musk so maybe that’s where I am getting the musk association from. It’s beautiful but since I only have a sample, one I’ll reach for sparingly.
Dark gardenias in a maze of vines
This smells like an evening walk through a botanical garden. You start out in a humid greenhouse, and after some wear emerge outside to walk down a cobblestone path lined by trees and ferns. After a few hours this fades significantly on me, sitting very close to the skin. It fades to a creamy sweet gardenia.
