Mostly pine woods and black tea. It’s very much an atmospheric, to my nose, and has a sort of “fall air in the woods” feel to it.
Coniferous with a pungent peppery or smoky edge that seems to project more than the (artificial-smelling) pine. Hours in, I can finally pick out the warm base of tea and oakmoss, easily the nicest part of this scent, but the projection is nauseating; this may be the first sample I’ve thrown out without trying to repurpose or regift
First impressions: this scent leans heavily masculine. It reminds me of my great grandfather’s shaving cream (which I loved). There is a lot of pine but also a base of something else. Maybe the black tea? I am going to let it rest a week or two and see what it smells like then.
This is a scent I was extremely excited to try, but it disappointed me right away. I can definitely smell the pine, but it was to the point of being almost pine-sol like. It reminded me of soap/cleanser 😦 I might give it another try in a few weeks to see if it settles into something better.
