I was really excited for the milk note, but it just made this whole thing smell like baby powder. I could get hints of beautiful florals, but it was all covered up by that milk note. This scent just isn’t for me.
I had high hopes for this since it utilizes some of my favorite notes, but unfortunately my skin amps honey like no other and that’s all I get. Maybe a slight hint of gardenia. Sadly, nothing aquatic.
Opens with a scent more akin to jasmine before sharpening into gardenia (still milder than most I’ve tried). The florals here aren’t especially dominant, and I can detect something like soft, ashy incense in the background, an interesting juxtaposition against the milkier elements that make up most of this scent. Moon actually smells almost exactly midway between Fantome Gion and Kensington, all very pretty blends.
