  1. When freshly applied, I can smell a hint of the lavender creeping in the background, but it quickly disappears altogether. I was hoping for a stronger sense of the amber and musk in this blend, but I’m still enjoying what I’m getting, which is not soft, but STRONG autumn spices. It reminds me of what our cedar chest smelled like growing up. We must’ve kept a Christmas-y potpourri in it, because this scent reminds me of pulling out ornaments when it was time to decorate the tree.

  2. There is a strange savoriness to this perfume that I wasn’t expecting. It almost smells buttery. I also get a lot of the Autumn spices on my skin, which I’m not a big fan of in this blend. Didn’t get much lavender.
