This is definitely not your common pumpkin scent. When I smell this, I get a lot of spice and quite a bit of warmth coming from the sandalwood, oud, incense, myrrh, and/or amber. For me, the actual pumpkin smell is light or it’s being dominated by many of the other notes. I take this as a good thing, as many pumpkin fragrances are right up there in your face. In general, this would be considered an oriental blend– it’s warm, woody, spicy, and powdery, especially as it dries down.
On first application, this was very much a spicy pumpkin smell. As it wore, it faded to a powdery scent that had the smallest touch of sweetness.
