This is a lot prettier than I expected. It starts out as a soft, pillowy pumpkin bread with a lovely touch of sweetness from the maple. It’s very lightly spiced, and the apricot adds a hint of brightness. As it wears, the syrupy maple and honey come out stronger. It’s a really nice, balanced gourmand.
