  1. Oh yes yes YES!!! Glorious musky resinous amber scent on my skin that lasts and lasts. This is so damn good. Reminds me of a lush green forest (sans the Christmas tree scent). Something in this is almost powdery but not in the way of baby powder. I can’t really smell straight up cardamon but it’s there in the background lending a sweetness to the musk and keeping it from becoming too masculine. I cannot find one negative thing to say about this perfume oil. I want a FS bottle ASAP! One of my top amber picks for sure.

  2. Yessss. I’m moaning and rolling my eyes as I first sniff this one. It’s literally everything I hoped for, maybe more. Another shocking and shining example of tree-y without smelling like my dreaded pine. I’m in giddy awe. Like my experience with Prehnite, this captures the outdoors and makes me smell like a wood nymph, but only in the best ways I’ve always dreamed of. It takes that aromatic moment of stepping into a forest and crafts it into human form somehow, like I am that moment embodied. It’s pure magick. The amber is thick and decadent resin, with a flirtatious, sultry darkness to it that’s beyond sexy. That is a godsend for my layering addiction too, because it marries absurdly well with gourmands, gracefully bridging the gap between foodie and classical perfume. I’m completely enamored and so, so happy that I went straight for a full size on this one. There’s not much else to say. Perfection.

  3. Wow! If you have been looking for a not super sweet, non powdery Amber then this is for you! Smells like fresh sticky amber resin dripping onto crushed pine needles and moss and all the woodsy greenery of the forest floor. Spectacular! This is the smell of a mischievous forest sprite. Love it!

  4. rich amber, gold green forest

Thoughts: This is resinous but not sticky sweet, nor is it powdery. The pine and fir are very subtle with just a touch of barley there cardamom.

  5. This perfume is more wonderful than I could have imagined! I amp a lot of musks and constantly live in fear that a new perfume will smell like another variation on “old lady”… But this perfume is exquisite! On me, there is an almost creamy, vanilla depth to the golden amber. The woods all entwine in a symphony of green forest – they are not sharp, as woods can be, and they also are not individually distinguishable to my nose. The hint of smoke wraps around the warm and the woody, making everything feel cozy and extremely wearable. I am absolutely going to wear this more often than not as fall settles in!
