I’ve had this for a year, and it’s getting less interesting with age. Soon after I bought it new, it smelled like generic baked goods. It wasn’t bad, but it was more plain muffin than blueberry. Now that it’s been a year, I only get vanilla sugar out of this. It’s still nice and wearable, but it somehow smells even less like blueberry muffin. Not what I was hoping it would be.
Blueberry syrup! In the bottle, this is amazing and unique! Unfortunately, it doesn’t retain that once I put it on. Like what happened to another reviewer, the blueberry is completely gone. It’s… baked sugar crystals? There’s also something sharp, almost sour, about it when it’s freshly applied that I don’t like. I suspect the custard. It settles into a mostly agreeable, mildly sweet baking smell after a couple hours, which is wearable, but boring. I am very disappointed. (gifted)
