Overall, this smells like a basement filled with plants. Upstairs, someone is baking a cake, but the door to the kitchen is locked.
Normally, I’m a big woods, oud, and musk person, but this was a big miss, scent-wise. I think it may have been the oud: I noticed the same “off” smell in Sensory Deprivation Tank, another scent that contains notes I generally like.
Yup, I like this. It’s funny that there are no wood notes listed, but it is called Broomstick, after all… It reminds me of what wood smells like when you hand sand it. Warm and earthy, but still clean. I don’t get any vanilla from it. Just fresh, green wood dirtied up a bit with musk and oud. Very nice.
