Oh no. I wanted so badly to like this one. I’m still trying, even after all this time. Does my body amp sweet, vanilla notes to an insane degree, or is this a vanilla-forward scent? Probably the first one!
It may be the extreme sweet of the vanilla, guaiac, and chestnut juxtaposed with the spice of the pink pepper and balsam that makes this a big nope for me. Maybe for someone with different chemistry it’s okay.
This scent is pepper forward, but it’s balanced between sweetness I think is from the orange flower and vanilla bean, and a hint of smoke. I’ve been wearing it non-stop since receiving it. It has a warm, comforting aura while still being very interesting.
