  1. In my hubris I blind bought a full size of Death and Floral’s The Wolf Only Needs Luck to Find You Once because I was certain I was going to love it. Reviews said it was atmospheric, that it smelled like a crisp night in the woods, and even the ones that didn’t like it said it smelled wild and animalic, like wet dog.

And I was excited to smell like a werewolf! So you can imagine my disappointment when I received it and it smelled exactly like old Avon perfume. Like powdery old lady.

I’ve tried it on my skin, on my partner’s skin, on some fabric, tried letting it rest. The only time it didn’t smell like powdery Avon perfume was after a few hours on my partner when it started to smell like hot hairspray and singed hair.

Super sad about this one, of all the scents to not work for me!

  2. This is one of my favorite scents ever! It wears close to the skin but it’s SO good… warm, sweet, and musky in the most natural humanistic way possible. I wear it nearly every day and it layers really well with “half hoping to be eaten by a bear”
