  1. Smelled absolutely rancid for the first few minutes it was on me. Then smelled exactly like green tea Pocky, but THEN transformed into just this weird vague spicy plastic scent and stayed there. Minimal throw.

  2. Wet, it is Pocky – the biscuity, chocolate-y goodness of Pocky. The dry down has something sharp/dry. Is that matcha? I’m used to smoother lattes – this isn’t smooth like a matcha latte.

  3. It smells exactly like you’d expect: matcha white chocolate Pocky. It’s sweet, but also light and airy and warm. I love it so much.

  4. Total Pocky smell in the bottle, sort of a cool vanilla. There’s a sharp hit of something bitter when this is freshly applied, which I assume in the matcha note trying to assert itself. It fades literally as soon as it dries though, within seconds, so I only mention it in case someone panics and scrubs before it settles. Now it goes back to the familiar Pocky scent. It’s delightful and a teensy bit nostalgic. It’s a light, fresh cookie smell, and to be fair, that’s pretty rare for a foodie. It isn’t something that’s represented in my current collection. There’s no butter or “baked” smell. It’s quite clean. I might detect the faintest hint of green tea, but it isn’t something I would identify without knowing it’s there. It’s lending the sense of freshness, perhaps. I could see myself wearing this when its sweltering hot outside and I want to smell like a snack. It’s sweet, but not rich. It trends sweeter through the wear. It smells like an iced shortbread cookie now. Like if the Lemonade Girl Scout cookies didn’t have lemon in them. It reminds me a bit of the sugar cookie I get from Arsenic. I like it at both stages… but is it love? I don’t know. Part of me wants more green tea, but the weirdness at application makes me think I might be wrong on that. Since it becomes one-dimensional, I’m tempted to layer it. All-in-all, this is a solid blend. I just gotta decide if I need another foodie scent right now.

  5. Smells mostly like matcha- I was hoping for a little more sweetness from the white chocolate, but that never really happens, even after a few hours. It smells surprisingly sophisticated though.
