  1. After trying out Sixteen92, I noticed that a lot of the scents can either go atmospheric (where I could literally smell every note on my skin), or simpler and more straightforward (like my skin would only amp 1-2 notes of a S92 perfume and that would be it. Luckily, a lot of those ‘straightforward’ scents I’ve tried actually have great and totally non-basic notes).

Unfortunately, this scent is straightforward to the point that all I smell is just gooey apple pie-filling. It’s a VERY realistic rendition of cooked apple, but it was disappointing for me because I badly wanted to get more wood and cider out of it. It’s definitely not for me, and I honestly recommend this only if you want to smell like you dumped a can of cooked apples all over yourself.

  2. At first, I got the lukewarm spiced cider and leftover pie filling with some of the firewood note, but then it took a turn for the worse. I think the family arguments = booze. It was like apple-y cough syrup on me. Epic fail.
