  1. This initially smelled scary when it first arrived (like a sawmill that’s dripping with sharp lime and alien-green goo!) but it still intrigued me enough to keep it. A month later, it’s become one of my *favorite* wood scents because it practically smells like I’m outdoors, lurking under dew-flecked oakmoss while having a drink of absinthe cream with lime in a coconut bowl (and there’s cedar around me. Not a ‘just freshly cut’ cedar, but a bark-covered kind that I appreciate!).

The absinthe (or absynthe in this case) is VERY creamy, minty, and herbal. I could smell a tiny touch of spice in that note (thankfully it’s not overpowering) and it blends SO well with all the plantlife in the fragrance. I also get a whiff of osmanthus occasionally (which here in the UK, reminds me a lot of the flowering osmanthus you find in tea shops) which puts a little class in the scent, but otherwise this whole thing smells fresh & outdoorsy yet dangerous. Definitely works great in hot and cold weather and I recommend this if you want to smell like a VERY wild green fairy!
