  1. In the vial: tart fruit and soft woods. Very tart when first applied. There is a bitterness that I’m not a fan of, especially with the tartness; I’m guessing that’s the “bitter yuzu” note. I don’t really get the vanilla, or much sweetness from the fruit. I can identify a general soft woodiness, but I’m not sure what hinoki wood smells like on its own so can’t really say if it’s contributing in any other way to this blend. After drydown, it’s sour, bitter, and kind of woody. It fades significantly within an hour or so.

  2. I was a bit disappointed here – I couldn’t detect many of the listed notes, it just came off as a sort of generic, quite sweet (but not very vanilla-forward), tart fruity scent. It wasn’t woody at all. The entire blend seemed a bit muddled and all seemed to collapse into this sharp yet sweet fruit, that I wasn’t really a fan of. The longevity on this was unfortunately pretty brief, too, though I know that is somewhat normal for citrus scents.
