  1. Minty Trees 🌲!!! I would never wear perfumes that smells like a forest on a regular outing (cause I’m not that adventurous in my everyday life). But, I would wear this one cause it has depth. I like how it has that mentholy/minty aspect cause it adds that unique coldness. And the mintyness isn’t gum mint or candy cane mint.

  2. well shit, tha’ts a Christmas tree. applied wet, this literally smells like I’m walking through a holiday forest. it’s evergreen but more than that… You know when you’re lugging you xmas tree into your house or up your stairs and you have to prop it up and have your face buried in it as someone tightens the stand down below. When you’re snuggled in real deep into the tree and you can smell the sticky sap and the snow still on it … yeah that’s what this smells like. As it dries, the resins are poppin off and it’s getting more complex. This really is an interesting scent. Will check back in in 30 mins. Alright soooo, I think this has gone a lil soapy on me. This isn’t uncommon for cedar/pine scents on my skin, but it might also have something to do with the resins. Honestly, – not sure! I can still smell the trees, but I’m also smelling a lil soap. However, a lovely atmosperic at the beginning! I think I might try mixing this with something… orangey? We shall see!

  3. I just get a strong mint with fragranced forest. It’s an artistic idea of what a Cathedral of Trees would be like. Not a realistic forest. But definitely minty (I think that’s the ‘crisp cold air’?)

  4. Awww man. This makes me misty-eyed a little. It creates a very personal scent connection for me. My father passed away a few years ago and he was paralyzed for some years before that, which often made him unhappy. I asked him which scents he associated with his best memories and I asked him to tell them to me. He was suffering from degeneration and loosing his memory as well so I knew he might not remember them later. In many of his happiest memories he said that the impression he was most often left with was the forest with many pines, in the summer, at night. I worked hard to recreate that scent for him in hopes that smelling it would help him feel happier and it did. This is what this smells like – a forest full of pine trees with some other trees quietly there in the background but not as fragrant as the pines.

  5. In the vial, I get snapped off boughs of fir and pine needles mixed with lemony frankincense and myrrh and all I can say is, get on my skin and take me away to an enchanted forest! Frankincense and pine blends help me sleep for some unknown reason and I have been dabbing myself all over with Cathedral of Trees and sleeping soundly as the winds outside are starting to pick up. On my skin, the fir and pine rise first and then frankincense takes its place next to cheery myrrh and finally a familiar fuzziness of labdanum appears and I am one happy sleepy lady as my mind relaxes.

  6. Whoa, hey, TREES. Do you want to smell like you’re surrounded by an evergreen forest? Well, friend, this one’s for you! I feel like I can smell pine and cedar, and also something resinous, which reminds me of fresh sap. It mellows a bit as it dries, some of that fresh sharpness receding. It’s a lovely scent, but not one I’m often in the mood to wear.
